For the installation of this kit with direct mounting to the battery, it is necessary to install a connection in it, therefore it must be sent to our facilities for said modification. In Spanish territory (Peninsula and Balearic Islands) we can manage the collection of your battery. Please contact us after placing your order to arrange shipping details for your battery. Volabike’s new ebikes kit with Bosch engine allows to increase the capacity of the e-bike by 252Wh or 378Wh, which add to the capacity of the bicycle’s internal battery, for a maximum autonomy.This kit, is specific to ebikes that mount Bosch engines of 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation.Thanks to the disposal of the cells, the available space on the bicycle frame is used to mount an extender with greater capacity, keeping the center of gravity of the bicycle as low as possible.The battery is mounted inside a cylindrical aluminum box, which is placed on the bicycle, in the place of the water bidon, through an adapted port, included in the kit.For their construction they use the best batteries available on the market, using only those of the most renowned manufacturers, and using the best models, both in construction quality and in capacity.Currently, for the proper operation of this kit, it is necessary to install a connection on the Bosch battery itself, where the extender will be connected to the eBike.For this, we collect the Bosch battery at your home and subsequently send it back, along with the extender kit you have chosen.We will contact you to specify a day and a collection time.Installation is done in a simple way.The kit includes all the necessary material to perform the installation, as well as all the necessary material to fix the extender in a 100% secure and reliable way to the bicycle frame.The entire installation is done through connectors.It adds detailed manual with pictures and point-by-point descriptions of all steps to complete the assembly.The use of this extender kit is very simple.It is only necessary to charge both batteries 100% and light the bicycle and extend it at the beginning of the route.Both batteries will be charged at the same time.This helps to increase the internal battery life of our e-bike, by decreasing the effort you have to do to power the engine, protecting it from premature waste and avoiding possible failures by overheating.The kit consists of:

The whole kit is sent in a double alveolated carton box, protected with foam to avoid damage in transport.The modification of the Bosch battery can cancel the remaining guarantee. For mountain bicycles or in case of looking for more autonomy, we recommend new package packages up to 540Wh compatible with Bosch engines.
